Definition of Musical Arts

Experts have suggested much meaning or definition of the art of music according to their understanding, but this module students are expected to make sense or definition according to its own ideas by referring to the opinions that have been expressed by experts.
 
Sudarsono (1992:1) art music is a beautiful expression of the human in the form of a rounded concept of thinking, in the form of notes or other sounds that contain rhythm and harmony, as well as having a form in a time known by oneself or human another in the environment, so it can be understood and enjoyed.
 
Rien (1999:1) a work in the form of a song or musical composition, which reveals the thoughts and feelings of its creator through the elements of music, the rhythm, melody, harmony, form and structure of the songs, and expression.
 
Jamalus (1991:1) A work of sound art in the form of a song or musical composition, which reveals the thoughts and feelings of its creator through the elements of music, the rhythm, melody, harmony, form or structure of the song, and the expression as a whole. New song or musical composition is a work of art if it is played by using a voice (singing) or with musical instruments.
 
Musical arts education is an educational process that helps the disclosure of the idea / notion of someone who caused the symptoms by using the elements of music, so the creation of a musical work that is inseparable from the sense of beauty.
