L'Arc-en-Ciel Concert at the National Olympic Stadium, Tokyo
Long time no hear news after undergoing a series of tours of the 20th anniversary, 20th L'Anniversary WORLD TOUR 2012, the Japanese rock band L'Arc-en-Ciel will appear with news of new concert. L'Arc-en-Ciel will be held a concert in one of the historic places in Japan, the National Olympic Stadium in Tokyo on 21 and 22 March.
This is the second time the band fronted by vocalist Hyde at the venue. Previously, L'Arc-en-Ciel concert was held in place during a series of world tour to celebrate the 20th anniversary since their debut. This makes them the fourth artist to hold a concert at the venue after the Dreams Come True, SMAP and Arashi.
With this, L'Arc-en-Ciel will be joined by Momoiro Clover Z and AKB48 will hold concerts at the venue last, because after Tokyo are set to host the 2020 Summer Olympic Games, the National Olympic Stadium that was once the opening and closure of the Tokyo Olympics in 1964 was decided to be destroyed. A new stadium will be built in 2015.
Meanwhile, L'Arc-en-Ciel since late 2012 and throughout 2013 busy with individual activities of its members. In addition to going back concert, they are also scheduled to re-release 18 albums in a concert video formats Blu-ray on March 19th next.
Previously, a compilation album of 18 video DVD album will be released in both Blu-ray boxset titled L'Aive Blu-ray BOX-Production Limited Edition Complete Edition on 26 February.
