ALTER BRIDGE is a band whose members Mark Tremonti (guitar / vocals), Brian Marshall (bass) and Scott Phillips (drums) who is actually a former personnel CREED plus Myless Kennedy, former personnel MAYFIELD FOUR, as vocal fillers. After what was obtained CREED professionally, I feel it is time to focus on my personal goals. One of my goals is to go back to the roots of the music that is more viscous. After CREED decided to disband, my compatriots, Scott Phillips, and I start to jamming together again. And finally we realized that we turned out to have the same vision and great again, we both agreed to re-start from the beginning, "I'm Mark Tremonti at length about the idea of the initial formation of ALTER BRIDGE.
ALTER BRIDGE name comes from a bridge built along the route around Alter Road Detroit, Michigan, near the house where Tremonti grew up. In April 2006, Alter Bridge announced the end of his relationship with Wind-Up Records. The last album titled Blackbird, was released on October 10, 2007. His first single, entitled "Rise Today" is used as the official theme of WWE Unforgiven 2007, and the videos are still circulating on the Internet.
