Full name Saul Hudson (born July 23, 1965), more commonly known as a stage name Slash, is a guitarist an American-English. Dream Theater is one of the most prominent progressive metal group in the world today. Founded by Mike Portnoy, John Petrucci and John Myung, they have released eight studio albums, four live recordings and a short album (EP). Dream Theater was formed in September 1985 when guitarist John Petrucci and bassist John Myung decided to form a band to fill their spare time while attending Berklee College of Music in Boston.
